Troy T. Ammons Jr, born in the
farm belt of southwest Georgia in 1921, exposed to all types of farm
activity, hunting and fishing at an early age, quite naturally creates
artistic work of nature, animal and folk type. His work includes well known
farm scenes of the twenties and thirties, that are fast disappearing. He
had no formal training, but uses his God-given talent to create one of a
kind art that tells a story and captures the essence of a vanishing American
farm culture. He created his first painting in his early thirties, and is
continuing his work with even greater interest and volume today. He also
recently wrote a book titled "Life of a Country Boy" that is full of
interesting and funny stories related to his life touching on Farm life,
Hunting, Fishing, Family and Friends. If you are interested in buying
